small format items up to 11" x 17" in full color, grayscale
or line art.
- Slides and
negatives - Our versatile scanner adaptors allow for quick and
easy scanning.
- Save your
items onto a CD in the resolution and format of your choice i.e.
tif, jpg, ocr or pdf.
- OCR - Optical
Character Recognition - Need to edit a manuscript and all you
have is the hard copy? Don't retype the entire thing, let Arc
OCR convert it. Scanning documents as an OCR file allows text
and format editing. Documents can be opened into Word '97 or later
versions.
- PDF - Portable
Document File - Documents that are scanned in this format are
stored as a raster image. This format can not be edited
but can be bookmarked or indexed, making it suitable for quick
digital reference or as efficient document backup. What you see
is what you get - this file format is the best option for documents
that never need to be altered. Documents can be opened with Adobe
Acrobat Reader for viewing and printing. Back
